In February 2008, FMCSA launched a field test of the CSA 2010 Operational Model in several states. In 2009 more states were added to this test. CSA 2010 is intended to be fully implemented in all states between July and December of 2010 with the Driver Safety Management System slated for implementation in January 2011
The driver course is 1.5 hours long and gives drivers all the information they need to fully understand how CSA 2010 will apply to them. It includes all of the talking points outlined
in the video clips below, and additional Driver Specific information. At the conclusion of each section, viewers will be prompted to take a short quiz over the material covered in that section.
