Describes the
Unsafe Driving and Controlled Substances BASICS. Unsafe Driving is the operation of CMVs in a dangerous or careless manner, speeding, reckless driving, improper lane change, and inattention. The Controlled Substance BASIC cover operation of a CMV while under the effects of any controlled substance.
The driver course is 1.5 hours long and gives drivers all the information they need to fully understand how CSA 2010 will apply to them. It includes all of the talking points outlined
in the video clips below, and additional Driver Specific information. At the conclusion of each section, viewers will be prompted to take a short quiz over the material covered in that section.
