1. Have you had any interventions from the FMCSA?
Yes, one phone call about some component on a trailer being too high.

2. Were you assigned a corrective action by the FMCSA?
Yes, we were instructed to fix the problem with the component on the trailers. Which we did and then informed FMCSA of the correction. That was it. Mike said “We have always had a good safety rating; our biggest problems are tickets the drivers are getting

3. If so, did they use our system for that in any way, either for the training or the reporting, or both?
In this case there was no need to utilize Infinit-i to correct the problem.

4. What are they doing differently in their safety training to prepare for and adapt to CSA 2010?
Mr. Clay told me they are much more aggressive in how they deal with drivers getting tickets. For example, if a driver gets a speeding ticket, Kennesaw will check the MVR reports going back 3 years. If they find the driver had NO tickets in the previous 3 years they would reduce the speed of his truck by 4 mph. If the driver has had a ticket in the past 3 years, the driver would have his truck speed reduced and be put on one year probation. If the driver gets another ticket while on probation he would be terminated. They are putting much more pressure on the drivers. I then asked Mike if the driver’s safety score would have an impact on their hiring and he said “absolutely, we have always had strict requirements, but they would most likely not hire a driver with a marginal rating, let alone an unfit rating” Mike also said, “this new initiative is a good thing, there are lots of BAD drivers on the road”.

5. How do they see Infinit-i helping them with CSA 2010?
Mr. Clay said, that in addition to the regular driver safety training, they would be using Infinit-i for remedial training when an intervention occurs and he agreed totally that the 3rd party records would be a big benefit to prove to FMCSA what had been done.

6. What can we add/modify to Infinit-i to better help them with CSA 2010?
Mr. Clay’s only suggestion here was to keep adding more new content, more frequently, to keep things fresh

Steve Kessler then suggested to Mr. Clay  the ability to put your own custom content using the Infinit-i platform. If you wanted to send us your policy on speeding, we would upload the document to your platform and could even add some test questions the drivers would have to answer about the policy. The system would then be able to tell you which of your drivers have read the policy and understood it (based on their answering test questions). It seems like it would be great to know for certain that your drivers have seen and understand the policy.
